LBP AM and Tocqueville Finance publish their Voting policy

As responsible investor, La Banque Postale Asset Management (LBP AM) and Tocqueville Finance pay particular attention to identifying and keeping under control the main negative impacts of their investments on sustainability factors. The Voting policy thus aspires to limiting the negative impacts of the companies it invests in.

The Voting policy relies on their SRI philosophy, known as the “GREaT philosophy”, which is based on the following four areas of analysis:

  • responsible governance;
  • sustainable management of human and natural resources;
  • energy transition;
  • and territorial development.

Against this backdrop, the voting policy promotes the implementation of best practices in terms of corporate governance and business ethics and encourages the consideration of environmental and social issues in companies.

The exercise of voting rights is fully in line with commitment strategy of LBP AM and Tocqueville Finance and can constitute a lever for asserting the expectations of their shareholders formally.

LBP AM and Tocqueville Finance can therefore support resolutions not approved by the Board, whose implementation is likely to contribute to an improvement in Environmental, Social or Governance (ESG) practices in the company, including by doing their part to get them on the agenda.
