Tocqueville Finance informs you of the introduction of a redemption capping mechanism (“Gates”) within the documentation of UCIs.
This mechanism allows redemption requests to be spread over several net asset values if they exceed a certain, objectively determined level. In this way, should the Gates be activated, redemption requests would be reduced proportionally to the decimal point or to the whole share, in both cases rounded up.
This change, which does not require the approval of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers, will take effect on December 15, 2023.
It does not change the risk/return profile, nor does it increase mutual fund fees.
